Character Info

◎ Character's Name: Naruto Uzumaki
◎ Character's Canon: Naruto
◎ Character's Age: 17
◎ Canon Point: Chapter 697
◎ Background/History: Here!
◎ Do they have a sixth-sense?
Somewhat. While Naruto can't do such thing as read minds, he can sense people's presence through their chakra.

◎ Personality:
Mostly everyone knows Naruto as 'that loud ninja guy' back when he was a kid and not that well-liked. It's no wonder, considering his talking volume is basically set to 'outdoor' by default, unless he's discussing something in secret or being totally serious that is. Still, his loudness coupled with his good-natured friendliness makes him a really easy person to approach despite his status in the village as of currently. To some others, though, Naruto is always mentioned as 'that prankster'. Unlike most ninjas, Naruto's idea of having fun is to set up harmless traps as well as well, modifying some certain artwork into something else just for the heck of it. While recently he hasn't had the time to do any of that, he was really proficient with it when he was a kid. His pranks can be as silly as putting a bucket of water over a door to something as bad as defacing an important monument too.

Fortunately, he's at least really helpful to everyone he considers his friends. Whether it's just being there at their time of need or just plain silly requests, as long as he has time for it, he's definitely going to do it. To Naruto, helping out his friends is one of the things he enjoys as their smile of gratefulness always makes his day. In fact, he's so dead set upon it that when he insisted on helping someone, there's no way to dissuade him until either he's convinced that help is not really needed, or he actually finished the task said someone intended for him to do. To him, there's never a moment when he doesn't put his 100% to helping someone.

Unfortunately, he's really impulsive too. His process of thinking tends to revolve around "do things, then ask later" as opposed to "think first, then do it". Really, this is a constant cause of frustration from his teammates because it tends to lead them straight on into a trap. At the same time, this kind of recklessness means that he's better suited to reacting as opposed to thinking. He's more adept at creating hodge-podge strategies that work in the midst of a situation as opposed to planning his moves in advance. From disguising his clones to terrain or actually figuring out a way to make a technique work on the fly are just some of his prime examples of his on-the-fly combat strategy.

Once he has bonded enough with an acquaintance, Naruto begins to consider said acquaintance as quite a close friend. In this case, this meant that person had acquired his trust. With a rapport having been formed, Naruto will gladly do anything he can in his power to protect you or god helps whosoever dares to touch his new friend. Not only that, he will always insist on his friend being on the right despite them being obviously evil. He will not take action against them until proven that they really do have malicious intent. In which case he might just beat you up in the face in order to force them back to their senses. Or reluctantly kill them as a really last option.

And then there's his rock head. If Naruto's determination is 100% then his stubbornness could be averaged at 1000%. No matter how many things hit his head or how injured he is, Naruto will always stand up despite the pain. For him, giving up is something he'll never do, and everyone should just give up on making him give up. While a positive quality, this tends to stray into the negatives again, since there are times where his mind gets clouded by his determination. In this case, thoughts such as a strategic retreat were pushed to the backburner as the situation escalates, and at times, lead him dangerously close to death. Well, as far as a kid housing a demonic fox with infinite power can go without dying anyways.

Being alone for most of his childhood, Naruto's really starved for attention. While the worst of it has come to pass, his bad childhood that he spent alone was ultimately what shaped him. It was selfish of him to wish for attention, but with him having nothing, there was no other way to go but to the top. His loyalty, therefore, explains that he's really afraid of being alone. He won't lose anymore people in his life if he can help it, which is why he's so headstrong with protecting all his friends. At the same time, this is one of the ways that he could connect with his peers. Having nothing in his life, he can basically adapt to his friends and as time goes on and more bonds are formed, Naruto continued to grow from the brat he was to the person he is now. For example, Gaara and Naruto, both in the same situation differed in that while Gaara has always shunned human interaction, Naruto basked in it. Naruto is a fuller person than Gaara was an empty shell, and it was this difference alone that managed to crack Gaara's facade and started changing him for the better.

◎ Powers/Abilities:
Ninjutsu
Like all Ninjas, Naruto has his own set of Jutsu to fall back on during battle. Most ninja have access to Shunshin (Fast Movement), Kawarimi (Substitution), Bunshin (Clone) and Henge (Transformation) as their most basic tools. And then there are the elemental Jutsu that are their main offense options. For Naruto, he knows these very basic skills, and his additional techniques are as follows.

Kagebunshin no Jutsu (lit. Shadow Clone Technique)
Unlike a normal clone, a Kagebunshin actually uses up part of the user's Chakra ( think magic energy for ninjas ) in order to make a corporeal clone instead. This clone has the same basic personality as the user, and can do most of the techniques the user can do, provided it was given enough Chakra. Thanks to Naruto's unique condition, he can summon hundreds, if not thousands of these type of clones without being exhausted. In addition to that, whenever one of the clones disperse, anything that they have learned from the point they are called to the point they dispersed returns to the user. This makes training for an expert user of this technique a really easy feat to accomplish.

Rasengan / Futon: Rasenshuriken / Tailed Beast Bomb
A Rasengan is basically an amalgation of Chakra that the user released and contains in a spherical shape. When this sphere of energy makes contact with an enemy, it... well, explodes and sends them backward with an immense force. Naruto has variations of this technique. A lot of them, in fact. The two notable variation he has is the Futon: Rasenshuriken, where in it's an actually thrown variation of the technique that has a Wind-element. Its explosion also damages the unfortunate victim at a cellular level. The Tailed Beast Bomb, however, is just pure destruction. Molding the Chakra of the Demon-Tailed Fox into a sphere, this sphere is then shot at an enemy, causing a massive destruction in the vicinity of the sphere's contact point.

Kuchiyose no Jutsu (lit. Summoning Technique)
Having made contract with the frog clan, Naruto can call upon various toads/frogs in order to assist him in battle. These toads/frogs range in size, from a small tadpole to a building-sized giant frog. These frogs have their own techniques as well, but most of them are more focused on melee combats compared to Jutsus.

Sage Mode
Naruto is also adept in utilizing the energy found in nature to supplement his techniques. Upon gathering enough of them, Naruto can augment his physical attacks and his techniques with this energy, increasing their range and destructive power. While Naruto has the drawback of needing to be completely still while gathering this energy, he can use his clones to gather it in his place instead. This limits the number of Shadow Clones he can use to 5, but at the same time this means that he can stay in this mode for a longer time.

Kurama
The Nine-Tailed Fox sealed within Naruto. An energy being that is composed of Chakra, meaning that it is pretty damn powerful and is also the source of Naruto's massive reserve of it. Thanks to their partnership, Naruto can unlock the seal that trapped the fox within him, and work in tandem with the fox. This form that's created from the partnership could be considered a demi-god, as in this state, Naruto's at his peak in terms of physical and technique. His Jutsus hit harder, and he can move at blinding speed. In Cerealia, however, their Chakra link is weaker, and this form will only grant him a power boost and all his exclusive techniques in this mode will exhaust Naruto upon usage.

It's been a month. A month ever since he arrived here in this place. A month after he found out that the world he fought so hard for had been destroyed by an outside influence. Hiding his feelings about it behind a smile is one thing he can do. Keeping it bottled up, however, is even harder. There had been a few times where all he wanted to do is to just punch a log into splinters for the whole day in order to let out his frustration. For Naruto, who wears most of his emotion on his sleeves, it's really telling that this place is starting to get to him to the point where even his assigned job is a really boring task.

Thus, it's no wonder that he's taken up sparring sessions with some of the inhabitants here. He's positive that from the vast divergences in everyone's worlds, there should be at least someone that can fight him on equal grounds. Not only is it a good stress relief, he can at least preoccupy his mind with besting someone else as opposed to just thinking about everyone and how he utterly failed them as a friend and as a Hokage in the making. Unfortunately, no one's really around right now, and all that left him with is just a load of nothing to do.

Currently, he's just wandering around the shopping district, hearing all the people talking about their usual daily stuff. It's odd, knowing that the world is at war with unknown beings, and yet these people still live in their luxurious blinking thingies that he hasn't even got the grasp of just yet. All these stuff had done for him is to just cause him extra headache. Those holo-thingies at his home are just adjusted to show his disheveled apartment back home, an indicator of his homesickness, but he can't be bothered to really learn them, so he just left it like that. Either ways, he's going to just yell out to the sky.

"AAAH, I'M SO BORED!"

Which. Caused quite a few people to look at him crazy, but he didn't mind, he knew this outburst is going to gain him some attention after all.

"Someone, just spar with me already, this is getting a bit boring!"

Maybe this way he can get some interested party to either spar with him for real, or compete with him in that ViViD game. Either is fine, just give him something to do...!
